🚀 It's time to submit your application for the Startup competition 🚀
A few weeks before the FABA ceremony, the “Startup Competition” is a unique showcase and pitching contest.
Companies competing in the “Startup of the Year” category at the FABA 2026 will present their projects to the public and to a jury of experts during a special showcase & pitching contest. This year, the Startup Competition will include two editions: one held in Los Angeles on May 5th, and another in San Francisco on May 7th.
All companies must meet all the following criteria:
- Have a French or dual citizen founder or CEO
- Funding received is limited to seed round
- Based in California, or based in France with a current development in California, or based in France with a future project of development in California
At the end of the application period, up to 15 startups will be selected to participate in the Startup Competition. If your startup is selected to participate, the founder(s), or someone from your team, are expected to attend our special showcase & pitching contest in Los Angeles or in San Francisco.
All information provided is strictly confidential and will not be disclosed by jury members.
The application process is free of charge.
The deadline to submit your application is: April 10th 2026
The winner(s) are revealed during the 11th edition of the FABA ceremony on May 27th in San Francisco.
